Preventing Urinary Tract Infection

What is UTI? UTI stands for Urinary Tract Infection.

Symptoms are masakit umihi, or lagi kang umiihi, o masakit ang puson o kung may dugo ang urine. Here are simple ways to prevent UTI’s from occurring.

1) Wipe front to back.. Bacteria that causes UTI’s live aound the rectal and vaginal openings. So wiping from front to back helps prevent bacteria from going inside. This is something that we should teach young girls right away because young kids can be prone to UTIs.

2) Pee after sex. During sex, bacteria can be pushed into your urethra then it can move up to the bladder and grow. “Emptying your bladder before sex gives the bacteria less urine to multiply in, and urinating afterward helps flush away any germs out.

3) Do not hold your pee. When you pee, you’re flushing out bacteria from the bladder. So don’t hold your pee.

4) Don’t wear thongs or skin tight jeans. Tight clothing can lead to vaginal infections. If you always have vaginal infections or UTI’s stop wearing thongs or tight jeans. Wear looser clothing.

5) Avoid certain condoms. Spermicides on condoms can be irritating for some women.

6) Take Sante Pure Barley, it will flush out all the bacteria, because Sante Barley is highly alkaline and contains vitamin c, folic acid and 25,500 Orac Value; that our body needs to fight all the bad bacteria we have!
